National Institute for Occupational
Safety and Health – NIOSH is
a Federal Agency whose responsibilities
include investigating hazardous working
conditions; evaluating hazards in the
workplace; creating methods for

workers. The website provides information
about NIOSH and their activities.

Combined Health Information Database

CHID is a database
produced by health-related agencies of
the federal government. It provides
titles, abstracts, and availability

education resources. Maintained by the
NIH, this database lists a wealth of
health promotion and education materials
and program descriptions that are not
indexes elsewhere.

Healthfinder – Healthfindertm
is a gateway for consumer health and
